Red Line Gear Oils and Transmission Lubricants are designed to provide excellent low-temperature shiftability and improved gear protection at higher temperatures. Red Line Gear Oils will reduce differential temperatures 10-70°F. Efficiency improvements between 1-5% are typical. The synthetic base stocks used have tremendous thermal stability and provide the best film strength available. The unique combination of base stocks and additives allow Red Line gear and transmission oils to carry higher loads compared to petroleum lubricants. The stability of these products allow them to be used for extended periods.

SYNTHETIC MANUAL TRANSMISSION LUBRICANTS


MTL® Manual Transmission Lubricant
- a 70W80 GL-4 gear oil (SAE 5W30/10W30 engine oil viscosity) designed for use in manual transmissions and transaxles. Provides excellent protection of gears and synchronizers and its balanced slipperiness provides a perfect coefficient of friction, allowing easier shifting.

MT-90 Manual Transmission Lubricant
- a 75W90 GL-4 gear oil designed for use in manual transmissions and transaxles. Provides excellent protection of gears and synchronizers and its balanced slipperiness provides a perfect coefficient of friction, allowing easier shifting.


SYNTHETIC AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION LUBRICANTS



SYNTHETIC ATF - synthetic Dexron II, Mercon, and Mercedes-Benz approved fluid. Superior stability allows high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches. Also provides improved shifting in cold weather.

D4 ATF - synthetic Dexron III and Mercon fluid meeting the requirements of most transmission manufacturers, while satisfying GL-4 gear oil requirements. Superior stability allows high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches. Also provides tremendously improved shifting in cold weather. The best low-temperature shiftability for manual transmissions and transaxles which require ATFs.

HIGH-TEMP ATF - synthetic ATF which is a GL-4 gear oil for use where Dexron III or Mercon is recommended. A higher viscosity allows optimal operation at 70°F higher temperature, providing better torque converter efficiency. Perfect for heavily-loaded vehicles. Superior stability allows high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches.

RACING ATF - synthetic ATF for automatic and manual transmissions which need the positive shift of a TYPE-F ATF. This ATF contains no slipperiness additives, producing faster shifts and quicker lock-up. A higher viscosity at high temperatures provides greater efficiency and provides better wear protection than other ATFs.

C+ ATF - synthetic ATF for Chrysler MS 7176.


SYNTHETIC GEAR OILS



75W90 GEAR OIL - recommended for most street driven and racing differentials. Excellent performance in conventional and limited-slip units. Also for limited-slip manual transaxles which require a 90 WT oil. Contains limited-slip friction modifiers.

75W90NS - recommended for manual transmissions and non-limited-slip transaxles that recommend 90 WT oils. Can be used in racing limited-slip units to increase lockup and reduce wheel spin. Street-driven rear-wheel drive cars should use regular Red Line 75W90 or 80W140.

75W140NS - recommended for manual transmissions and non-limited-slip transaxles that recommend 140 WT oils. Can be used in racing limited-slip units to increase lockup and reduce wheel spin. Street-driven rear-wheel drive cars should use regular Red Line 75W90 or 80W140.

80W140 GEAR OIL - recommended for heavily-loaded and low-speed differentials, including limited-slip, and where reduction of limited-slip chatter or gear noise is required.



SHOCKPROOFTM GEAR OIL - recommended for heavily -loaded racing differentials and transmissions which see shock-loading. ShockProof contains a unique solid dispersion which cushions gear teeth to help prevent tooth breakage and allows the use of lower viscosities. Available as SuperLight, LightWeight, and Heavy grades.
DIFFERENTIAL FRICTION MODIFIER & BREAK-IN ADDITIVE

is a friction modifier designed to reduce limited-slip noise and to aid the proper break-in of any differential. This can be added to any gear oil to reduce temperature during break-in and prevent gear softening. Replaces manufacturers' limited-slip additives. Can be used to perfectly tune a limited-slip unit. Red Line 75W90 and 80W140 Gear Oils already contain this additive.
